Application
is very straightforward. If you
are a student and are eligible, ask at your Principal’s or Head Teacher’s
office for an application pack. The
packs must be submitted to your school or college by
Friday 20th March 2009
Your application pack will include
A nomination form
A
declaration of eligibility
A
1,500 word essay about yourself, your life and your present and future
contribution to the community
Those students who reach the final short list will be asked to make a presentation to a panel of judges – this is planned to take place on the Friday 24th April 2009 and the results will be announced shortly afterwards.
Winners will be invited to an Awards Ceremony which will take place at the Town Hall, Ashton Under Lyne on 4th September 2009
